Our dogs enjoy our small hobby farm nestled on 40 acres of property backing Kings Mill Conservation. We are a no kennel facility, so our dogs live in home with us and are free to roam the fields anytime of the day thanks to our invisible fence.
Our whelping box is often set up in a quiet space close to our bedroom when welcoming new puppies into the world. With lots of soft bedding, electric blankets and a humidifier we make sure our newborns are in a safe, temperature and humidity controlled area. As they age, we slowly transition them out of the whelping box and into a larger pen where we begin potty training and introduce various stimuli such as toys and textures. Depending on the weather, we try to schedule outdoor time for the puppies to explore the elements!
